The Pilo Family Circus

Hands down one of the best books I have ever read, it is an excellent and horror-filled story of a circus (can it get any creepier?). Will Elliott was 26 when he finished his debute novel and was given an award for it (and I can see why). It is about a man who gets kidnapped by some clowns and admitted to some weird circus that can't be found in the real world.
The only thing that bothered me was that I kept wondering where it was set even though it clearly said Brisbane (Australia) - I feel like a schmuck.
Hot Equations
It's extremely hot here (at least for this country) which is really annoying since I have to prepare for exams for next week. I'm at the library doing math and sweating like a pig - there are skylights here and the sun is frying me. My only saviour is the small gusts of air that come in every now and then.

Finnish, Fresh Morning
I don't want to jinx it (I am, I just know it) but we're finally having some wonderful weather. It's even more than acceptable! Since the weather was so lovely (and I'd seen a discount ad in the local newspaper) I went out and about to get some things.

79,50SEK and 69,50SEK
I thought it was time to get my legs in check (not that I really want to, but it beats having people ask why I won't just shave my legs), the Veet strips are actually alright, they're not "dry" as some other strip waxes are so they don't have to be "heated up" as much.
The Lumene (unwrapped) tube is their new product: Raspberry Miracle Lip Sorbet. It's very glossy and feels really nice. It's like a giant crayon.
Final project: "The Others"
I have a 50 points-course translated as "Art & Form", for my final project I decided on the theme "the others" and initially I had a lot of ideas.
("The Others" is a philosophical idea of that which does not fit into the norm "The Same").

Even though the initial ideas can be seen on the paper on the upper right I side I decided to scrap them and switched them for a painting (I wanted to take the opportunity to paint instead).

If you cover the left side you'll see that that side of the face looks older and is more worn out, if you cover the right side you'll notice that the face looks younger. My idea was to paint the way the world perceives age in contrast to youth.
I'm not super happy with it, but I tried to paint in a different way (and this is quite a large painting, probably larger than a normal head).
Bank Holidays, Freetime and Bjäre Chips
Yesterday's eye-look (Similar to last day's look but with eyeliner and a red touch instead of orange.), I feel like I've been on a roll these few days with my blogging, partially due to the bank holiday so I've had more freetime. The mini-holiday is basically over but I actually haven't been doing nothing this time :)
- Thursday my mother and I had an excursion to a more distant warehouse
- Friday I went jogging in the morning and hung out with friends in the evening
- Saturday I had dance in the morning and then had a tea time with myself and a book at a coffee house, later my mother joined.
- Sunday I will have lunch with my family and then have dance class during the evening.
I'm updating this blogput (yes... I'm shortening that word) just because of these chips... they're awesome.
I think I had these when I was like 13 and I couldn't find them until my mom bought these mini packs, so I had to go to the store to get some more. They're overpriced and awesome.

Hot Wired BBQ
Woah, two posts in a row? You guys should probably not expect anything for a while.
I went out running in the morning and after the regular procedure (breakfast, showering) I went out to buy some cheap brushes. The ones below are only 10SEK each which is really cheap and I don't want to use them for dry products.

I decided to try out the Primer Palette from Sleek. Since I'm wearing an orange shirt I wanted to go in a brown/orange/coral tone - the primer I used was "Hot Wired", it's not that pink in real life.

Green everywhere you go
It's a bank holiday today (Christ's ascension to heaven? Ascension day?) which means that there isn't a lot to do except for homework and reading. Here is a picture of today's makeup, I felt like using a lot of green since I recently decided to start using my 88 palette.

Two kinds of stripes AND a green T-shirt - jackpot!
Friends With Clowns
Quick drawing while I was watching Friends With Benefits, I'm reading a book (well, I've gone through the first pages) and it features some really weird clowns. I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'm just keeping it to myself, but the writing is excellent.

Project Nails and Condoms (not really)
I'm trying to get my nails under control, as stated in this and this post, I have quite weak nails and ugly cuticles so I'm trying to make them look better.
Even though my cuticles are a bit ugly, they feel a lot better after I've put on the Avocado Oil, and now I got the serum from Depend as well, when I wake up in the morning they really feel harder than they usually do which is nice.

I also got the "Hair Helper" from RFSU (I think they're mainly known for condoms), I sometimes get really itchy legs when I have to shave them often (like, during the summer) so I'll try and see if this helps.

Blogs
I read a few blogs, not every day since I let them sit for a while on Bloglovin' and then read them when I don't have anything to do (or sometimes when I have stuff to do ô_ô).
My list of interest gets updated every now and then but these are basically in Swedish by Swedes and I've been reading them for a while, so I'm sorry if you can't read them :(
Other than these I also watch a few YouTubers, a lot of makeup gurus and stuff like that.

I really like this girl and I've known her for (woah) a few years now (over the internet). She's definitely a big inspiration for me and I know it started as a love of her drawings for me, it then developed into admiration for how great of a person she is. When I read her blog I get a smile on my face, she's a really sweet and funny person.
(Of course I made that awesome header) She writes en anglais just like me. This girl is funny and loves dance just like I do (and sometimes we dance in the hall of the school), we're loud and foreign and will joke about each other.
I've known this girl for so long, we met during daycare and really started to hang out as we came to elementary school - she's played a big part in my life and we've cried and laughed together, she's gorgeous and photogenic and has a love of fashion. I don't get to see my old friends as much as I wish and sometimes I get really sad thinking about us having fun together (also applies to the blogger below).
One of my favourite blogs to be honest, I really like reading it. There are a lot of photos here which I love (I like art in general). We met during elementary school when she was a new student but we didn't really hang out in the beginning (due to some stuff). She's incredibly sweet and I know I sometimes randomly think "I really miss her". On top of that we have one major interest in common and I'm relieved to have someone to talk to about it.
Repetitive Shiznit
I'm really unnecessary, because I know I returned the lipstick but I wanted it back - only now I had a discount. I also got a nail file because I'm trying to get my freaking nails under control, I actually think that the nail oil has worked on my cuticles, they don't look as dry.

The lipstick was 99SEK but with 20% and 25SEK off, it was 54,2SEK
Team efforts and education
We were in Lund for three days to get more information about the university and the different types of educations. If I want to become a civil engineer I'll have to go through five years of studies after I finish high school.
